Hi Nicolas !

JaWE and Shark are still Open Source under LGPL and CVS'es of these projects are completely filled !

We (Together) also use these Sources and build commercial products (TWE, WTS,...) with some closed source extensions based on them. As a side effect of our commercial product builds we also package the "community" binaries and make them available for public download in addition to the LGPL sources. Our build scripts are complete Together PRODUCT builds and would not run with the public sources alone, so we do and will not provide them as part of the Open Source projects. But we offer full product sources and builds with a restricted license to Development Partners (as can be read on our homepage), but this is off topic here...please contact me separately if you are interested.

We do NOT develop, maintain or support Shark 1.x anymore...if somebody wants to do that, please open up a new project on Sourceforge or whereever...the sources are of course still LGPL and you can do with them whatever you want...as long as you do it the LGPL way...

We had to clean up the CVS for structural changes in the project files. We are also removing old downloads, because we used already many, many gigabytes on ObjectWeb GForge and were asked by ObjectWeb to clean up... If somebody has some webspace/bandwidth free, please host the old versions sources and binaries there and put the info where you put them on this mailing list !

TWE Professional and TWS Professional are NOT the same as JaWE / Shark. More should be discussed privately if you want...

Greetings.

Alfred Madl

Dear Sasa, dear all,
I'm still a little bit confused.

I followed the different discussions concerning Jawe and Shark new version, as TWE and TWS.
What I understood:

*	TWE and TWS are based on Jawe 2.0 and Shark 2.0 that are still open source projects.

*	Two branches are being developped, for Shark V1 and Shark V2, without a clear communication on what was going on with V2 for the community.

Some comments:

*	I don't understand why TWE and TWS, that are not Jawe 2 and Shark 2, are published in the repository of Jawe and Shark.

*	I wonder why the sources corresponding to the distributed binaries are not available with the binaries (frozen version corresponding exactly to what is made available)

*	If two branches are being developped in parallel, how I have to proceed to extract one or the other branch with CVS? (Here it comes from the fact I'm a little bit ignorant with CVS).

Clarification and resolution of these points will probably help the community to merge their efforts for mutual benefits of the Open Source Community and Together, and to make Shark and Jawe the most attractive tools for Open Source Workflow tools.

Best regards.

Nicolas

Hi all,

the CVS is updated with following:

- ActivityFilterBuilder API got missing method addHasAssignmentForUser()
- AssignmentFilterBuilder API got missing methods for querying by process/activity priority
- fixed bug in DODPersistenceManager -> when restoring activity variables, isResult value was always false, which could cause improper process execution in many use cases
- re-written JSPClient put into CVS

war file for JSPClient is available for download at http://forge.objectweb.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=74.
(Read the instructions in README file that can also be downloaded from the same location).

The war file brings the newest version of shark binaries (the ones made out of the current CVS sources).

Greetings,
Sasa.
