Is the XMLC book still relevant?

Since the release of XMLC 2.2.x, I was wondering if the book 'Enhydra XMLC
Java Presentation Development' by Young is still considered relevant and
up-to-date?

If not, where is a good place to start learning about how to work with
XMLC that is relatively up-to-date?
