Initial Comment:
If I do something wrong like: 


    urllib.urlencode("test")


inside the TestRunner class, the run just stops with :finished

I just tried with singleprocess, and it's the same thing. 

Doing the obvious error outside the TestRunner class gives error:

Is there any way of getting error messages from inside workers?

This is by design. If an exception is thrown by the __call__() method will
be logged, and the run will be aborted, but the thread isn't terminated.

If you want to do something different, catch the exception in your
__call__() method. E.g. you could call grinder.stopThisWorkerThread().
