Thanks Gary for the quick reply. I had seen about the garbage collection earlier. But my problem doesn't seem to be with the garbage collector. I have launched the agents in multiple remote machines. Each machine has a 2GB RAM and 2.7 GHz. I have launched only 200 threads in each of those machines. When i see the CPU usage and the memory usage, it does not seem to hit the limits at any point of time. In fact the CPU utilization is less than 10% most of the time. And when i see the console, the TPS shoots up suddenly to 500TPS and varies between 0-100 most of the time. My confusion is if this : is this anyway related to the java and grinder. Or is it the server side issue/behavior.?? -- View this message in context: http://grinder.996249.n3.nabble.com/Maintaining-near-constant-TPS-tp8754p8757.html Sent from the Grinder - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Managing the Performance of Cloud-Based Applications Take advantage of what the Cloud has to offer - Avoid Common Pitfalls.
