It is not clear how you can make 100 consecutive requests through a
browser, including clearing the cache, and do so as fast as The Grinder
would - assuming you are not using long Grinder sleep times.

Try looping using curl (Linux or Cygwin) or similar to request 100 times to
see if the average of the 100 response times reported by curl is comparable
to The Grinder.
