Serious E4X Rhino bug in Helma 1.6

Looks like rhino builds since late March have a serious E4X bug with 
attribute literals (i.e., they don't work at all) but that they've fixed 
it in just the last 30 hours.

I do not have the know how to build rhino myself, and I don't know what 
extra patches Helma uses. I think this warrants a respin of Helma 1.6, 
but failing that is there a kind soul who can build a really new rhino 
for me with whatever extra patches Helma applies?

Or if it's plausible for someone with no existing Java build environment 
setup (other than having the jdk installed) to setup such an environment 
and do it himself, I'll do it if someone can point the way.
