HSQLDB 2.3.4 Final Released

The latest version of HSQLDB is available for download at hsqldb.org.

New features include support for creating SYNONYM for tables and
functions, PERIOD predicates, the UUID type, and TIMESTAMP columns with
automatic update on row update. UTF-16 files are now supported for text
table sources. Improved MySQL compatibility for REPLACE, INSERT IGNORE
and ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE statements.

This release incorporates extensive code reviews, enhancements and bug
fixes.

and reviewers who participated in testing and suggested enhancements.
