Re: RETURN VALUE on Stored Procedures

I think Noel was asking about primitive type return values, not result sets.
This is allowed in stored procedures in some databases, e.g. SQL Server and
Sybase.

I am having a similar problem with Sybase. We have stored procedures that
modify tables, return values via OUT parameters, and also return primitive
type values (usually integer error codes) in similar way to a stored
functions.

As far as I can see this is not possible with HSLDB. Is this correct?
