A new set of jars for the next version of HSQLDB is available at http://hsqldb.org/download marked with SVN version 6134. These contain the final 2.5.1 code. The jar supports new features and enhancements. See change list http://hsqldb.org/doc/2.0/changelist_2_0.txt. All issues reported since the release of version 2.5.0 have been fixed. The documentation at http://hsqldb.org/doc/2.0/ has been updated. Please run tests with the jars and report any issues. Final release of the download package will follow.
