nice to hear that someone is using the favorites list integration :)

seems to work for me, tested it with:

        JFileChooser fs = new FileChooserBuilder("/tmp").createFileChooser();
        fs.showOpenDialog(null);

in a NetBeans application and it had the shortcuts panel with the favorites list.


Could be potentially DirectoryChooserUI disabling the panel for some reason:

you could try to start with -Dstandard-file-chooser=true, this should use the JDK file chooser everywhere.
