A helpful contributor has, it seems, finally found the cause of the bug, and posted a workaround here: https://github.com/xxDark/clipboard-agent It would be very useful if we could have more people verify that the patch above works. It's a bug in Java itself, so it will ultimately need to be fixed in OpenJDK. Meanwhile the NetBeans developers are discussing if we can find a way to have the patch above included in NetBeans.
