Re: Creating a Client Webpage with embedded Java

I think cheerpj is what you're after. With a few caveats like "truly"
desktop/native features might not work - like e.g. file & database access,
OS interaction, sockets, etc.
Haven't used it personally, don't know about licensing & pricing.
