I'm losing track of how many times we've had this same conversation over the last couple of weeks, or with pretty much any odd numbered release. We're not putting a notice on our download page, but I would like to revisit the idea of having a pinned issue about this, just to cut down the workload. There is an old pinned discussion at https://github.com/apache/netbeans/discussions/8221 but obviously no one is finding that. Let's be clear, Lombok is a hack! NetBeans doesn't support Lombok. Because javac doesn't support Lombok. And NetBeans uses javac to parse source code. If you use an even numbered NetBeans release and the latest version of Lombok, you should get lucky. But don't complain to us if it breaks! All odd numbered NetBeans releases contain an EA version of the compiler for the next JDK release, so that we can support new Java features. Until Lombok releases a version that supports the new JDK, you will most likely run into problems. The other week I was having a discussion with someone who claimed that Lombok always worked in NetBeans these days, and I replied that I was sure we'd see lots of reports with NB31.
