Load non-Java resources into Java code

Hello,

In this post (http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.java.ikvm.devel/3546), 
Jeroen mentioned a way to make non-Java resources visible to Java code.
Currently, this moethod still works, but Jeroen mentioned he might take care 
of this in a future development.

Does anyone have an idea whether this feature has been added at this moment?
