Thanks for your quick replies, guys! Dne St 18. I have to admit my knowledge of C# is minimal. Knowledge of XAML is even smaller. > Of course you can write a normal XAML application > with C# and link some Java libraries. It is an option. I would probably need to package the C# UI part written by me as a DLL and then link it with client Java code providing the application logic written by a 3rd party. To explain: I am interested in running any DukeScript (http://dukescript.com/) application on Windows Phone. Such applications have one WebView component as a UI and control its content in by a Java code. I can realize the WebView in C# and write the necessary JavaScript/C# bindings in C#. Package that as a DLL and only expose small interface to be implemented by Java (via ikvmstub) to bridge the Java client code to the C# UI. > But if I understand you then you > want write it in Java code. If you say so, I can try the C#+XAML+DLL approach first. > You need to create stub jar files for the > needed dlls and write your C# XAML code in Java. Is there by a chance a tutorial how to create XAML application without the XAML XML file? Thanks a lot for all your insight. -jt [1] http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13163832/embedded-xaml-pages-on-dll ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download BIRT iHub F-Type - The Free Enterprise-Grade BIRT Server from Actuate!
