Maybe this is a stupid idea, but is it possible to ildasm an ikvmc-generated dll, add the event metadata, and then reconstitute the dll with ilasm?

An event definition is separate metadata entity. Without this the C# won't recognize it. There is currently no way for ikvmc to emit this event metadata.

There is no easy workaround that I can think of.
