Hi Mike,

sorry to hear you can't continue with TREEMESH !

I downloaded the tar.gz file and applied the changes to JGroups on 
branch treemesh [1]. It'll stay there as a branch, until someone decides 
to work on it, or you tell me to remove the branch.

Hmm, interesting. Have you seen my blog post [2] on RELAY ? This is 
something we're doing to allow for geographic failover.

I'd love to work on treemesh, but unfortunately, my plate is full as it 
is, and I don't see this changing anytime soon...

Well, let's see. I added treemesh to JGroups for now, and maybe someone 
picks it up and contributes patches to it..

Anyway, thanks for starting this project and showing interest in 
JGroups; you certainly learned much about JGroups which might be useful 
in other projects.
