[jgroups-dev] JGroup - Connection broken

Hi,

We are aware that newer version 3.X+ series has many new features as well
defect fixes. Due to release schedule and testing effort, we are continue on
2.8.0 GA version. 

Please, help to identify the impact of following parameter: 

tcp.conn_expire_time

What I want to confirm is, if JVM running longer GC like 30+ Seconds, would
this kill TCP connection due to not setting above parameter? 

By the way, we are setting FD (TimeOut & MaxTries ) which has combine
effects of 60 Seconds.
