appreciate your prompt reply. This leads 2 quick questions: 1) what is default value of Conn_expire_time? 2) Can you please confirm understanding of relationship of Failure detection ( time out = 2 seconds, max tries = 30 ) and connection expire time? 2 JVM (A & B) : JVM A running 35 seconds full GC which stops-the-world JVM B will detect failure of JVM A only after 60 seconds (2 * 30 ) JVM A becomes responsive after 35 seconds but by the time TCP connection already closed as it passes conn_expire_time, gets broken pipe error In this case setting only FD parameter does not help. Is this correct? Bela Ban wrote: > > > > On 11/26/12 11:26 PM, Dalal wrote: >> >> Hi, >> >> We are aware that newer version 3.X+ series has many new features as well >> defect fixes.
