[jgroups-dev] OpenStack discovery protocol (SWIFT_PING)

Anybody interested in taking over responsibility for SWIFT_PING, the 
OpenStack discovery protocol ? I want to move it out of JGroups, into a 
separate GitHub project.

The reason is that OpenStack's Identity API (in Kilo) apparently dropped 
application/xml as request/response format and now only supports 
application/json [1].

As I don't want to add a JSON parser as dependency, the only option is 
to extract this protocol into its own project.

Any takers ?
