[jgroups-users] sample config for udp unicast only?

Reading through the docs, there's an example called tcp.xml that uses the
TCPPING protocol, which loads a list of hosts:ports for the discovery
mechanism.

Does TCPPING actually send messages over the network or not?

I had a working udp multicast setup in one test environment but it's not
working in another and i suspect multicast or igmp joins are being blocked
for some reason. Looking to see if i can switch it over to a static ip/host
list easily by swapping out the <PING ../> block with <TCPPING .../> and
leave the rest of the configuration the same.
