Does TCPPING actually send messages over the network or not? I had a working udp multicast setup in one test environment but it's not working in another and i suspect multicast or igmp joins are being blocked for some reason. Looking to see if i can switch it over to a static ip/host list easily by swapping out the <PING ../> block with <TCPPING .../> and leave the rest of the configuration the same. --0000000000006f2a0905a250a9ec Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><div>Reading through the docs, there's an example call= ed tcp.xml that uses the TCPPING protocol, which loads a list of hosts:port= s for the discovery mechanism.</div><div><br></div><div>Does TCPPING actual= ly send messages over the network or not?</div><div><br></div><div>I had a = working udp multicast setup in one test environment but it's not workin= g in another and i suspect multicast or igmp joins are being blocked for so= me reason.
