I haven't looked into the issue because problems that existed 8+ years 
ago have most likely been fixed in the meantime though heavy use of 
JGroups in production.

The main reason I don't support such old versions is that (a) most 
likely an issue was fixed in a later version and (b) I'd rather spend my 
time working on the current version.

The latest stable which is currently 3.6.8.Final.
