Yes, It looks like Raft but I wouls say it is Zab (ZooKeeper Atomic
boadcast). As I do not depend on hearbeat to send ACK to the leader. But in
general, I would say Zab and Raft share many concept.

Yes, this is correct.

The client picks a node (Zk node) in round robin manner. Your answer to the
