[jgroups-users] ECF uses javagroups for Remote Services

FYI:

The ECF project [1] has an implementation of the OSGi Remote Services 
specification [2].   We have recently created a distribution provider 
based upon JavaGroups 3.6.8 and I wanted to let this community know 
about it.

OSGi Remote Service Specification

The OSGi Remote Services specification allows a remote service to be 
defined, implemented, discovered and used without requiring a specific 
distribution system or associated transport.   This allows the creation 
of transport-independent remote services.   ECF's implementation has 
multiple distribution providers [3], and allows other providers to be 
created and used [4].
