Hi, yes starting two containers should be the equivalent.

I think that "--network=host" is possible in ECS but not in Elastic
Beanstalk.

In Beanstalk I use the following security ingress rule:
port7800SecurityGroupIngress:
    Type: AWS::EC2::SecurityGroupIngress
    Properties:
      GroupId: { "Fn::GetAtt" : [ "AWSEBSecurityGroup", "GroupId" ]}
      IpProtocol: "tcp"
      FromPort: "7800"
      ToPort: "7800"
      SourceSecurityGroupId: { "Fn::GetAtt" : [ "AWSEBSecurityGroup",
"GroupId" ]

in ebextensions/.elb-listener.config.

Kind Regards
Steinar
