Thank you for the response. I will post a sample code shortly. As of now I have narrowed down the issue to the usage of fork channel. I have probably done something wrong which causes this issue. Using the RpcDispatcher that uses the main channel works fine (changed only that call which fails). https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JGRP-1905?focusedCommentId=13031874&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel Referred the above link where you have stated "I cannot send a fork-channel=not-available exception or flag back to the RPC caller as the request message hasn't reached the RequestCorrelator/RpcDispatcher code, so at this point JGroups doesn't know anything about RPCs yet". This cannot be the case since RPCs made previously with the same dispatcher worked. However the behavior seems to be pretty much the same where no method is invoked nor an exception is thrown. I will try to reproduce this with a smaller sample and update the same. -- View this message in context: http://jgroups.1086181.n5.nabble.com/jgroups-users-RpcDispatcher-does-not-invoke-remote-method-tp11333p11335.html Sent from the JGroups - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot
