Right. Note that this decision might be unilateral > If an FD doesn't detect a fault for some reason, but a socket connection > in the TCP module fails, will the other node get marked as suspect? No, this is done by FD_SOCK, that's why I recommend both FD_SOCK and FD_ALL in the same stack. We used to have this in TCP as well, but when connectio reaping (closing idle conns) was introduced, this feature was removed. > Thanks, > > Vladimir > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most > engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot > > > > _______________________________________________ > javagroups-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/javagroups-users > -- Bela Ban | http://www.jgroups.org ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot
