Paul,
I'm getting ready to start on a new module manager and that's going
to change the layout of the www directory. Basically we're going to
have a www\modules directory with a base config file, then
subdirectories for each module (links, forums, etc). Then we'll do
module.do?name=links&action=add&mod.param.1=blah etc. A similar
directory structure will happen for blocks with a config file for each,
but there won't be a blocks.do file. We're also going to need something
for themes, so that each user can select their own theme and have it
persisted in the preferences. We also need a way to persist how a user
places blocks, since they will be able to move those around, correct?

>In the current iteration of the layout manager, there seems to be no way to have a website laid out in any different manner than the way the JLCP comes (blocks|News|blocks). The layout manager needs to be flexible enough to allow the site builder to layout blocks in any manner that they choose.
