please explain this a bit more.  The session counter should only allow the user object to be added once. At least it did in previous versions :)  Hard to test while the UI is fudged.

Description:
When a user logs into the site at one location they are allowed to log into other locations while still being logged in (which is a security issue). In addition the number of users logged into the system continues to steadily rise as the user logs in at yet more locations.
