Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JLCP-195
Summary: Site Admins need a way to ask for different information from users
Type: Improvement
Status: Closed
Priority: Major
Resolution: DUPLICATE
Time Spent: Unknown
Estimate: 0 minutes
Project: Javalobby Community Platform
Versions:
0.5.1
Assignee: Matthew Schmidt
Reporter: Gregory Pierce
Created: Sat, 3 May 2003 10:35 PM
Updated: Fri, 20 Jun 2003 10:36 AM
Environment: All
Description:
While in the small case of a site owner having a simple generic community, the number and type of questions being asked in the registration system is fine but for any large scale system - and administrator is likely to want to ask for more information (like AIM name for example). In an ideal world, the administrator should be able to specify a list of properties that he/she wants to gather about people who they are going to allow to be members.
