Leaders, I don't know how much work is still needed for a new release, but do you think it could be possibile to make a new "unstable" branch and simply check in all the recent changes ? I know that there still is uncompleted work, but maybe it could be enough that just the code compiles. It's just to let me (and probabily others) start working on the code. I have a couple of no profit phpnuke-styled sites to start working on and I really would like to use JLCP instead of one of the many existing PHP projects.
