David, the service repository mentioned above is still present there and seems to work as expected. I had no issues to connect to it, could you check if there are not network/firewall related issues on your end?
To see the structure of the repository just go to it with web browser and examine the content. It is fairly simple:
- there is index.conf file that includes all the folder names in the root of the repository
- then every service should have at least work item definition file (*.wid file) 
- additionally it can define icon and index.html page that acts as a guide

and that should be all.
