Hi Ryan, > This makes sense wrt jervlet. When we release we will have three > components implementing the Jervlet interface, one each for Jetty, > Tomcat 4, and Jo!. I could see other vendors releasing a jervlet > component for their servlet containers (Resin? Orion?) and publishing > it on componenthaus. I will dance a jig in wellington boots the day that happens :-) Agree fully that it needs to be possible to relate impls to interfaces. As I emailed just a second ago to Mauro's post, the first iteration of CH did have this, but it was a little hokey. So I took it out and focussed on first getting the interfaces indexed, searchable and presentable. Weaving back in the idea of impls is high on my agenda (after sorting the notion of dependencies out - looks like we'll have a live link to ibiblio and dist.codehaus.org etc etc, so CH can provide a one-stop shop for all your component needs :-)). Cheers, Mike.
