It kinda blew my mind, because it envisioned a situation in which a componenthaus-aware java package installer existed, and it guided a developer or user through updating his system configuration to meet the needs of a particular piece of software. I will forward Joes email right now, as he stated things clearly. All I'll say is that for now, I'm rolling in only a very small subset of what he describes, namely support for different types of dependency, and initially "optional" dependencies. Maybe, someday, that package manager idea will be delivered on :-) Cheers, Mike.
