imo, roadmap to full release is:
- release metaclass 1.0
We need to decide what to do with metaclass-jmx.
It is used in loom and it makes sense to port it out of spice to metaclass.
- release dna 1.1 (linked to metaclass 1.0)
Peter on the dna jira roadmap there are 3 enhancement issues - how do 
you feel about moving them to 1.2?
- release spice-loggerstore/alchemist 1.1 (linked to dna 1.1)
- release loom 1.0

Apart from the dna issues there are no show stoppers,
just that I'd like the releases not use any snapshot or dev dependencies.

But in the meantime we can certainly go ahead with a rc1.
