Hello.

May I suggest that you would put previous years slides to Rulest Fest site
as advertisement.
A lot of conferences do that and it's a great way to attract new attendees.

I for one had a bit of hard time selling conference at the office as I did
not have any previous years material
to back up my argument that it would be good for the company to send me to
California for a week when the
autumn just happens to be at it's most dismal in Finland :)

I managed to do it, but couple good examples from previous year would really
have helped when budgets are tight.
