Jetty releases 4.2.14rc1 & 5.0.alpha3 are now available via
   http://jetty.mortbay.org

The 4.2.14rc1 release is a stable candidate and includes a few significant
fixes to the request dispatcher mechanism

Jetty-4.2.14RC1 - 19 October 2003
  + Reworked Dispatcher to better support cross context sessions.
  + Added UserRealm.logout and arrange for form auth
  + Allow customization of HttpConnections
  + Failed requests excluded from duration statistics

The 5.0.alpha3 release implements more 2.4 servlet functionality and introduces
several minor fixes from the 4.2 series.

Jetty-5.0.alpha3 -19 October 2003
  + Reworked Dispatcher to better support cross context sessions.
  + Use File.toURI().toURL() when jdk 1.2 alternative is available.
  + Priority added to ThreadPool
  + replaced win32 service with http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.org
  + FileClassPath derived from walk of classloader hierarchy.
  + Implemented security constraint combinations
  + Set TransactionManager on JettyPlus datasources and pools
  + Fixed null pointer if no sevices configured for JettyPlus
  + Updated jasper and examples to 5.0.12
  + Lazy authentication if no auth constraint.
  + Restore servlet handler after dispatch
  + Allow customization of HttpConnections
  + Failed requests excluded from duration stats
