Starting Jetty in separate JVM

Jan, I'm keen to use the new <waitForChild> element that you mention as run-forked blocks the maven JVM when binding it to the pre-integration-test phase and executing mvn clean install. I'm using version 8.1.4.v20120524 of the jetty-maven-plugin but it doesn't seem to acknowledge the <waitForChild> element when added to a <configuration> block. Is there any documentation/ guidance here? Cheers.
