[jetty-user] need help wrt jetty's logging

I keep getting log output from my apps showing up in jetty.log, eg:

...
57796 [pool-1-thread-9] INFO  grails.app.controller.myApp - blah blah


How do I suppress this?  I've already setup logging for my app to
output to its own logfile, which is working fine - but I don't want jetty
to be duplicating these logs into the jetty.log.

This is jetty-6.1.26, and I'm pretty much just using the default configuration; 
I haven't touched any of jetty's logging configuration, for instance in 
.../etc/jetty-logging.xml.

Any advice is very much appreciated, thankyou!
