UTF mystery

Hi,

I'm generating from a simple flash mx where I=20
change a string placed in a script  like var test=20
=3D "{to_be_changed}"

Works fine! I've got some mixed results with=20
foreign characters though. I'm using =E5,=E4,=F6=20
without any problems, but uppercase =C5,=C4,=D6 just=20
disappears.

I've tested to disassemble the output swf with=20
flasm and there I can se my updated variable=20
containing the new data.

with the lowercase =E5,=E4,=F6 I've got two chars=20
combinations starting with "=88". But for the=20
uppercase ones the character after "=88" is just a=20
"?". The same is for all characters (=C5,=C4,=D6).


Any tips on where to start looking. I've been=20
trying to find where and if any text conversion=20
takes place when replacing the {txt} strings.
