[ann] read my weblog for news and thoughts

I thought I'd let the approx. 3 people subscribed here (hi!) know that 
I'm, at the moment, posting most of my current thoughts about the 
directions I'm going with development of this thing on my weblog. The 
main reason for that is that's where the biggest audience is currently 
looking :D

not that this mailing list is not meant to be used, but there's just not 
that much reason to use it just yet.
