Any idea for JDK 1.5 clean implementation?

JDK 1.5 is out now, and I was wondering if there were any plans to take
advantage of the native improvements in the memory model and generics, etc.

Just curious, because I am at a place where I want to upgrade some stuff and
take advantage of those nice new language features.
