This is a known issue (see http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/RVM-491 and
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=38482 ).

Well, it's a problem in GNU Classpath. The way to fix this issue would
be to implement the missing functionality and get the code into GNU
Classpath.

Note that the use of other class libraries with the Jikes RVM is
currently not possible. The support for Harmony is broken (
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/RVM-925 ) and support for OpenJDK is not
yet ready ( http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/RVM-549 ).
