Dear all, I am using the perf tool in Jikesrvm-3.1.3 with the command line "..../rvm -X:gc:perfEvents=LLC-misses -X:gc:harnessAll=true -jar dacapo-9.12-rc1-bach.jar luindex" The problem is it prints "CONTENDED" for both "LLC-missescontended.muLLC-missescontended.gc". I have perfmon worked, and tried some work with "tool/bootImageRunner/sys.C" (update the library to the new perfmon location) and "build.xml" (update the gcc build option with -c which needed in the perfmon example). My questions are, 1. how to verify the sys.c compiled correctly (having the functions worked)? 2. what else I need to do to have the perf function work? Thanks!
