Also consider that the current JikesRVM head only runs a handful of
the dacapo bach benchmarks.  2.4.6 stands very little chance of
running any of the benchmarks.

If you still want to try running 2.4.6, try installing an older OS
version - I'd try the LTS versions 6.06.2 and 8.04.4 first.
