Hi, Thank you for this fix. It is working nicely now with clang. :) After debugging RVM with the GNU gcc 4.7 under OS X, it would seem that the asm constraint putting the native thread in the ESI register, found in the bootThread function of libvm.c didn't seem to work because the contents of ESI when crashing after this was called was something completely different. However I never got to the core of the issue but if anybody else wants to dig deeper, I think that's a good starting point.
