Erik fixed this in hg, but it was after the 3.1.3 release. You can just remove -fkeep-static-consts from build.xml. The patch is here: http://hg.code.sourceforge.net/p/jikesrvm/code/rev/874fd4a6b2d7 Cheers, James On 10 Jul 2014, at 8:04 am, Du Li <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all, > > When I build Jike RVM 3.1.3 on OSX 10.9.2, I got the following error: > > build-jburg: > [exec] clang: error: unknown argument: '-fkeep-static-consts' [-Wunused-command-line-argument-hard-error-in-future] > [exec] clang: note: this will be a hard error (cannot be downgraded to a warning) in the future > > It seems this error is related to the Apple LLVM compiler in Xcode 5.1 treats unrecognized command-line options as errors. > > Does anyone know how to fix it? > > Thanks. > > Du > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Open source business process management suite built on Java and Eclipse > Turn processes into business applications with Bonita BPM Community Edition > Quickly connect people, data, and systems into organized workflows > Winner of BOSSIE, CODIE, OW2 and Gartner awards > http://p.sf.net/sfu/Bonitasoft_______________________________________________ > Jikesrvm-researchers mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jikesrvm-researchers ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open source business process management suite built on Java and Eclipse Turn processes into business applications with Bonita BPM Community Edition Quickly connect people, data, and systems into organized workflows Winner of BOSSIE, CODIE, OW2 and Gartner awards http://p.sf.net/sfu/Bonitasoft _______________________________________________ Jikesrvm-researchers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jikesrvm-researchers
