Is there any way currently in JikesRVM to do that? The Baseline compiler already typically inserts instrumentation for that, in order to help the optimizing compiler. I'd dig into the various options available. I'm pretty sure you can get these counts dumped out, and you can avoid having the Opt compiler used, etc. Eliot Moss ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y
