Hi, I am Guido, from Buenos Aires university in Argentina. I am doing some research with reflective Virtual Machines. I ´ve read most of Jikes documentation. But i still have some doubts about its reflective capabilities. In particular... are the main components of the Jikes VM observable and modifiable at run-time? Is it possible for instance to change a bytecode implementation or the layout of an object at run-time without recompiling the system.
