Hi Nils I suspect GCspy and JikesRVm has fallen into disuse recently. Certainly I haven't looked at it in a while. However, I am surprised that "make install c java" failed. What were the error messages? I see from your error log that ld didn't like gcspy_buffered_input.o. Have you tried recompiling it with -fPIC as suggested?
